The Book of Living Tehillim includes Hanan Porat's articles for chapters A-Seg, which he managed to write and publish in his life. The second part of the book on the rest of the chapters was written by Yehuda Etzion, his disciple and his friend, according to his writings written in dense handwriting that he left on the margins of his personal book.
"Even a bird found a house and ran a nest for it" (Psalms 84: 4)
These are chapters of Tehillim in which a person will find freedom for himself and find a bird – the Knesset of Israel – Beit Lea, make sure that Reza Dekan is a bird (this is the secret of the expression "bird's nest").
These words, written by Hanan Porat in his handwriting on a small note, expressed his deep attachment to the Book of Psalms, whose chapters, he said many times, should not only say, study, or pray – but must live. He sympathized with the book, lived its contents as though it had come out of its own mouth and matched the root of his soul, which had sought to turn Torah into prayer all her life.
The Book of Living Tehillim includes Hanan Porat's articles for chapters A-Seg, which he managed to write and publish in his life. The second part of the book on the rest of the chapters was written by Yehuda Etzion, his student and his friend, according to his writings written in a dense hand he left on the margins of his personal book. The book is published more than five years after his death, and is based on a collection of articles published in the "Light of the Psalm" section of the "Light from the Light" synagogue. Every week, Hanan Porat asked for a number of points in each psalm in order to encourage the viewer to deepen his own way in the psalm. These bright spots will be an enlightening glimpse into his personal and philosophical world, which was broad-minded and sought to merge spirit and practice with ancient Judaism and renewed Israeliness.
